Updating Sierra to Mojave, painful or painless?

I'm using a 2015 MBP with Sierra 10.12.6 and PM5 which works perfectly. I have also just purchased PM6.

I'm thinking of updating Sierra to Mojave 10.14.5. Can anyone remind me if the OS upgrade needs me to put in endless passwords again or are the automatically set remembered? I seem to remember a previous updated didn't go so smoothly.

I've been updating my laptop since I got it 6 years ago. Never had an issue. I usually wait a while before updating (e.g. at least until the first dot release).
Same for the desktop (but that's stuck at 10.11 since it's too old to be updated further).

Updated mine to Mojave this year...no problems at all.

Can this please be confirmed by Camera Bits. I have wanted to upgrade for sometime, but prior to release of PM6, was advised not to.

Does PM6 now play nice with Mojave?

It is much better than the original release, but it's still not as fast as we'd like and we're continuing to improve it.

That's not what I said.  PM6 is faster than PM5 on the system that I test with.  There is still room for improvement though.

If you want to wait to upgrade then that's fine.  Many users who previously had problems with speed on their systems are now reporting that PM6 is fast for them.  Some users are finding that the speed still isn't there.

Latest version of PM6 with Mojave...fast enough for me. It opens 2000 pictures in a second or so. Really fine.
