I was hoping that Tabs would be included in PM 4.5, but is there away to stop it from opening every folder in a new tab?

For the benefit of others who may be looking for the same information:

In the Launching tab of the Preferences dialog, there is a preference near the bottom titled: "Opening Contact Sheets with Navigator or Favorites panes:" followed by a popup menu which has four options:

Double-click opens in new Contact Sheet
Double-click replaces frontmost Contact Sheet
Single-click opens in new Contact Sheet
Single-click replaces frontmost Contact Sheet

The second and fourth choices would do what you want, depending if you like to single-click or double-click.
