Renaming includes original extension

I have a bunch of files. I am delivering to my client in 2 foldes; web and print. I use save photo as. I select the size I want for the web image and rename using {filename}_web
However PM includes the original extension naming my new files GS5A7607.jpg_web.JPG. Should just be GS5A7607_web.JPG
I am on PM 6 build 3889 OSX 10.15.1

What am I doing wrong?

Use {filenamebase} instead.
