multi select in browse and filter
« on: November 16, 2019, 01:37:14 PM »
In Browse and Filter, I can multi-select by adding to a selection with the Command key (on a Mac) but I can't select a range with the shift key. I would expect to be able to do that.

I'm doing this with dates to select a date range. Date ranges seem to work fine, but selecting one day at a time is pretty uncomfortable.

I now see that I once posted that I could select a range "with the normal modifier keys". Maybe this broke somewhere along the line?

Carl,

It was removed when we went to a different method for choosing items.  I can see how for some metadata, easy range selection is needed.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Carl,

Please try beta 13.  The extended selection functionality should have returned.

Thanks,
