Consider .afphoto thumbnails
« on: March 02, 2020, 03:26:00 PM »
Please consider showing the embedded thumbnail in a .afphoto file in the Contact Sheet. For those of us using Affinity Photo, browsing files in a PM+ Contact Sheet containing .afphoto images slows the culling process. The attached is a comparison of PM+ with some other apps. I don't have it on my iMac now, but I know Photo Supreme also renders the thumbnails in .afphoto files.

Thanks to all of you folks for a great product.

I think those other products (and the Finder) are using the "Quick Look" plugin.  If the Affinity Photo folks will provide documentation for their format (at least enough to extract previews) then we'll try to support it.
