What kind of card are you using?
What kind of card reader are you using?  What interface does it use to connect to your computer?
Is the card write-protected?

Kirk, it's a TOSHIBA 64GB 240MB/s SD XC II card. The card reader is SanDisk reader. I was able to ingest the images to Lightroom from the card. I am only new to PM 6 and on the last occasion I ingested from the card everything was fine. The card is not write protected.

Looks like it succeeded with no errors this time.  Did anything about the card or camera change?  If you'd like troubleshooting support where a support person will work with you directly on your system, please call our support folks.

Kirk, It says that the ingest was successful however, I cannot see the images in PM6. I used the same reader and was able to upload to Lightroom. Any advice on how I can view the images in PM6?

Regards,

Conor

Can you post a screenshot of your Ingest settings?  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Conor,

Thanks for the images of your Ingest settings.

I take it that no Contact Sheet tab opens at the end of the Ingest?  Have you tried opening up the "/Users/Conor/2020" folder as a contact sheet?  That's where your ingested images should be.

Kirk, thanks for trying to resolve this issue.  I have opened the folder. There are 1154 images in it, the 17 images on the card that I am trying to ingest are not there. I am puzzled by this. Ae the ingest settings correct?

Conor,

If the images that are missing are non-RAW files, then the setting "Copy RAW Photos Only" is to blame.  I suggest you don't use that setting if your intent is to copy all of the images on the card.

Kirk, all 17 images are RAW files. This is the last image on the card

Kirk, I tried again to ingest this morning to the following path:

\Users/conor/PhotoMechanic_Tutorial/Ingest/PhotoMechic_LR Classic Test/20200422

I went to finder and no folder 20200422 is created.

Could this be the problem?

Apologies for all the hassle,

Conor
