Using single PMP database for PC and Mac

I have my photos stored on a drive that is accessible to both windows and mac.  Is it possible to use a single database that is accessible from both the PC and the Mac?

Yes, but each time you make changes to your catalog (add/remove images) on either platform, you'll have to use the "Reintegrate Forgotten Catalog" button in the Maintenance options in the Catalog Management window to make the other system aware of the filesystem changes you made.
