GPS coordinates not writing to HEIC files

I can't update the GPS coordinates for  HEIC files from an iPhone.
I use both the right click, Set GPS coordinates and also from the Menu Item  Image-> Set GPS Coordinates.
I noticed that on the images after seeing the GPS coordinates that the Contact sheet doesn't refresh with the map info. But switching from one folder and then back will correctly show the coordinates.  That "forced refresh" doesn't not work with the heic files.  The data just isn't being in the file.
On images that have GPS info written by the same phone PM6+ has no issue reading that data.

I was using an iPhone 12mini and I've attached a file I attempted to add GPS info too

PS very happy to see that we can now write metadata to the HEIC files.

I just replace my workstations but behavior persists

This functionality has not yet been added to HEIC files but it is on my list of features to implement soon.
