Update PMPlusSetupR6097.msi will not install
Problem:
Install package tries to install MSedge WebView2
GET ERROR: Computer has more recent version of MSedge. Install will not continue.
INSTALL STOPS
GET ERROR: Windows Installer Package did not finish as expected. Contact Support.
NO update.
PLEASE Fix This.

Thank you for the post.

It sounds like the Registry key that the Installer is looking for doesn't exist. We will look into alternatives to fix this problem in a future build.

For now, you can run the command below in the Command Prompt to run the Photo Mechanic Installer and skip the check for the WebView2 Runtime components. Update the "Path\To\PhotoMechanicInstaller.msi" with the path to the Photo Mechanic Installer on your system.

I don't have "PhotoMechanicInstaller.msi"
I have update installer packages, thus:
PMPlusSetupR6097.msi (new, will not install as explained above)
PMPlusSetupR6026.msi (previous -- I have this version installed and running without problems. I don't do anything fancy, so I really can't tell if there's problem with this build, Ver 6.0, build 6026)

fyi.. Windows Pro 10, 64 G memory, terabytes of open storage, my computer is not the problem

Thank you for the update.

I suggest that you keep the 6026 build that you currently have installed for the time being.

We are currently working on a solution to the problem and I will post an updated build link when one becomes available.
