Please post a sample image that exhibits this problem.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your file.  If it is a RAW file, be sure to include the corresponding XMP sidecar file.

Thanks,

I'm not quite following you.  Can you give me a set of steps that produces the problem?

Did you shoot RAW only, or RAW+JPEG?

It looks like the JPEG was generated from Photoshop via the NEF?  If you look at the File Info in Photoshop of your source image, is the metadata already missing?

What is a computer dashboard?

Could you please post some screenshots of these dashboards?

Thanks,

The desktop shows metadata?  I'm still confused and I don't know how to help you.

Hmmmmm when I ingest images I add ITPC data to all images so far I all good. Then when I open the image in Photoshop there is no Itpc data. Or if I try to open direct with photoshop from ingested folder It*s the same no ITPC . if I look in PM+ there is ITPC.
Hope I explain so you understand now ;D

OK, so I think I am understanding better.  The images you provided, which one should I open in Photoshop to see the problem?

Roger,

I don't understand.  Please specify one of the three files that I should open in Photoshop.  They are:

21Trastar1066.NEF
21Trastar1066.XMP
21Trastar1066.jpg

Thanks,

Ok If you drag  the testfolder to PM+ and look at Info in PM+ desktop .jpg has no file info . NEF has. The NEF file is opened from PM+ (E) opens Photoshop Raw, then save the image as .jpg and all file info is gone,
NEF file has file info in both PM+ and in photoshop
JPEG has no file info
