Watermark
« on: January 24, 2022, 08:39:31 AM »
Are there any videos on how to use the Watermark tool?  I have searched everywhere and can't find anything instructional on watermarking.

Thank you
Simon

No, but here's the documentation: https://docs.camerabits.com/support/solutions/articles/48001141001-adding-watermarks

Yeah thanks Kirk.

I have read it but it is not simple for a non computer person to understand' well for me anyway!  :D  I looked at exporting images but couldn't see how to, with a watermark.
I couldn't see how to preview a watermarked image without saving it.
I normally export images from Cap One watermarked, which is fine but I'm always looking at new ways to try things.

Cheers
Simon.

Use the "Save As" dialog (File->Save photos as...)

I couldn't see how to preview a watermarked image without saving it.

That's true, there is no preview.

Simon,

Okay Kirk, that's a shame.

If you want a preview in the Watermark dialog, make a feature request.  If there is enough demand we do add user-requested features to Photo Mechanic and Photo Mechanic Plus.

Okay Kirk, will do.

I think it would be handy, be able to check the opacity, placement and sizing, rather than having to save an image look at it and maybe delete.

Thanks
Simon.
