mark as reject - program trash folder for rejected
« on: April 16, 2022, 01:37:58 PM »
Not sure if this was posted before. i just testing PM+, and try to do some culling work on my old archive.

Unfortunately, if I trash a picture, it's not only placed in the program's, or system's trash can/bin, it's gone.
Sometimes I change my mind and want recover to some pictures, at least from a system trash.

I know I could filter it with labels and ratings, but iI would prefer a program trash folder for rejected pictures.

I don't understand what you mean by placed in the system's trash can and it's gone.  It can't both be in the Trash Can/Recycle Bin and be gone.

Is the disk that you trashed a picture on a local disk or a network disk?

@Kirk,

Sorry, you are right. On my other Mac it moved the trashed file from the hard drive first to the system trash, like wanted. I don't know why this happened, it's only an external local disk.

But a "trash can” feature like known from Capture One and Aperture would be better to double check before you really delete them.

Where do these apps store these images that aren't really trashed?  Still on the same disk?
