Lock Metadata Info Panel

I really would like to have a button in the IPTC Metadata Info, to lock it when is ready. The purpose is to avoid accidental modifications, specially when select several images.

I don't understand what you mean by "when it is ready".  What is 'it' that is ready?

Ready means that my Metadata Info of the photograph is completed, with all informations ready to publish, and I lock the Info to avoid any accidental edit
