Updating collection

Hi,
I observed that if I modify an image in Finder or in PM and I have this image in a collection, it dont update in collection, and I need to do manually again, exclude and include again.
Am I doing something wrong?

Can you provide an example of an update that you are making in Finder or Photo Mechanic and what does not get updated in the collection? Please let me us know the steps to reproduce this issue.

Ok, I have a raw image that I add to a collection. Later I create a jpg image and I associate it to my Raw file in the directory system file, but the same raw file in the collection dont update, I mean the jpg file that is in the directory location and correctly combined with the raw file, in the collection is not updated instead. The collection shows me the raw only. Then I need to browse again in the real location and add again the combined files to the collection. I tried with Refresh and Rescan, but dont works.
My workflow: I set collections of raw file, then I create the hires jpg files to combine with raw file, then metadata, and then web versions from the combined higher quality jpg.

If you were to add metadata to your RAW files, produce JPEGs from them (which would also now contain that metadata) and then add them to a collection, this would be less bothersome.  A collection does not auto-update to add other files derived from a file in a collection.

It is what I am doing, therefore I have collections with raw-only metadata and when I create the jpg metadata update fine, but I need to add manually the jpg to the collection. This is the only issue: I would like when I generate a jpg to be combined with the raw file. But I understand that collections dont update automatically combined files because the jpg file needs to be imported in the collection database.
