Support for Sony A7R V
« on: December 18, 2022, 08:13:06 PM »
Are you planning to support the A7R V soon? Is there anything I can do to help? I have access already to photos from two of the bodies, so if it would help to have a JPEG and/or RAW file from it to add EXIF support or anything else, then I would be happy to provide you with some example files.

Thank you very much for all you do!

Merry Christmas!

I just downloaded a sample file from the A7RV from DPreview and it looks great in Photo Mechanic.

What are you running into?

The A7R V camera's specific EXIF fields are not supported. No white balance info, etc.

Compare the A7R V screenshot to the A7R IV screenshot where those fields are supported.

Ah, I see now. Thanks for clarifying. We will likely address this in the near-ish term but I can't say exactly when.

I sent you a PM on this forum with info on how to send us some sample files. Just make sure they are directly from the card and not "touched" by any other software.
