Ingest is crashing my progam

Recently been having problems with ingest crashing the program. It happens both/either when using command-G and when the ingest dialog box opens automatically upon inserting a CF card. The program locks up is listed as not responding. I tried to re-install but that did not help. I have no idea what could be the culprit of this glitch.
