We are pleased to announce an update to Photo Mechanic 6 for macOS and Windows. This new build of Photo Mechanic 6 addresses issues present in the 6784 build.

https://www.camerabits.com/download/PM6SetupR6856.msiOn macOS, Photo Mechanic 6 requires Mac OS X 10.14 or higher If you are using a Mac with macOS 10.13 or older, you will need to upgrade to macOS 10.14 or higher to use Photo Mechanic 6.
On Windows, Photo Mechanic 6 requires a 64-bit edition of Windows 8 or higher. If you are using Windows 7, or lower, you will need to upgrade to Windows 8 or higher in order to use Photo Mechanic 6.

• Fixed: Photo Mechanic changes Date Created value for PNG files after assigning a color class or star rating.
• Fixed: Save As operation not including all XMP namespace fields.
• Fixed: "Show soft rotation indicator" preference should not also hide color label and star rating when disabled.
• Fixed: Application crash when attempting to render HEIC files from OnePlus 10 Pro 5G.
• Removed: Twitter upload template.
macOS:• Fixed: Incorrect Navigator Panel hover behavior for some long folder names.
• Fixed: Cannot Eject CF Express Type A volume from the Navigator panel.
• Fixed: Edit-->Spotlight Search Captured/Last Modified 'Exactly' and 'Between' do not return results.
• Fixed: A delay when panning around an image in the Preview window when zoomed to 50%.
• Fixed: Top-level folders in the Favorites panel don’t sort correctly.
• Fixed: Cursor alternates between hand and pointer when Zoom is enabled on videos in the Preview window.
Windows:• Fixed: Loading of XMP files by drag-and-drop to the application icon in the Taskbar.
• Fixed: Reveal in Navigator does not highlight specified folder after switching between contact sheet tabs.
• Fixed: Application crash when performing a drag-and-drop operation when the target is in the Taskbar.
