code replacement not working
« on: February 21, 2023, 04:46:40 AM »
Hi All:

I have tried my code replacement numerous times and I cant get it to work, im using "\" before and after, I have a single tab space between code and name but still not working. I have a copy of the txt if someone could have a look. Maybe I just cant see for looking!

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

I just tried and it worked for me-  \dc6\  returned Mark Connolly of Derry City  - make sure you have it on plain text

Note that the default delimiter in recent versions of Photo Mechanic is = and not \.  I'm not sure if that is what is causing your trouble but thought I would mention it.  You can check in the Set Code Replacements dialog:

Hi Folks, just getting down to a reply now.

Thanks for your help on this. Really appreciated!
Indeed it was the delimiter character. I've now now set it to "\" and its working fine.

Thanks again!
