folder colors in navigator panel

Hi,  Why on the latest update: 7086(7751091) have the folders in navigator panel changed to just a silly coloured dot, photos attached.sorry about repeat images

Due to changes in the macOS SDKs and our requirement (due to Apple's new Notary service) to move to the 10.15 SDK (prior was 10.10), we were unable to create the same treatment without rendering glitches.

As this is really a problem when working with many folders in the sidebar: Is there any hope of a visually better displaying in the near future?
