Button naming in Photo Mechanic
« on: March 07, 2024, 10:50:26 AM »
I love Photo Mechanic and after I discovered Keyboard Mechanic I was able to speed up my workflow significantly.

One challenge I have is that not all buttons in the Metadata Template are named explicitly, see the screenshot attached. For example I should know the name of the snapshot button. Or is there shortcut for the snapshot button?

It looks like Keyboard Maestro is trying to get the text from the buttons.  The snapshot button has an icon on it and no text.  The same goes for all of the popup menu buttons that appear either to the right of or below the various fields.  If we were to put text on the buttons as well as the icon, then the buttons would have to be made much wider to show the text, which I don't think is the right thing to do.

Thank you very much, I understand. Does the button have an ID?

I see an Object ID of 378.  You could try that.
