Settings for my iMac

Good morning folks I hope that you are all well.

I have been having problems on my iMac with the dreaded Beachball and am now wondering if my PM6 setting are at optimum.

I have PM Plus V6 Build 7102

My Mac has 3.79 Hz 6 core intel i5
8Gb Graphics
64 Gb memory 2667 MHz DDR4
operating system is Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

PM6 Settings are:
PM disc Cache size 1024
Reserve at least 100 Mb on disc cache volume
Memory cache size - 39% 25559 Mb

Can anyone suggest improvements on PM6 to the above?

Set the Memory Cache size down to 10%.  You don't need more than a few GB in the Memory Cache for it to be very effective.  If after making this change, you still experience problems, contact our support folks at:
