Photo Mechanic end of life preferences

When I used the remove metadata tool there is a window where you can choose what categories of metadata you want to remove. One of these categories is Photo Mechanic end of life preferences.

can you tell me what this is, what fields are covered in that category and how I can use these?

Only much older versions of Photo Mechanic wrote these end of file preferences.  They contained things like, tag, color class, rating, etc.  More recent versions of PM store all of that in XMP.
