Adding Persons Shown and Keywords

Is there a way to include keywords or persons once time in the image description and have them populate into the persons shown and/or keywords fields?

Would like to be able to drop a code replacement in the description as I caption and have it populate those fields as well.

Would like to understand this a bit better: So you're typing a sentence in the caption field, and in that sentence you type a name, and as you type that name, you'd want Photo Mechanic to recognize that it is a name, and then add that to other metadata fields such as Persons Shown?

Not currently possible, but could have potential as a future improvement to the capabilities of the Metadata Info window. Will be me moving this thread to the Feature Requests board.

Yes, realizing now I just described the same thing twice, really.

I'm thinking it would be something where typing =h23= in the description could update to (1) "Chicago Bulls guard Michael Jordan (23)" in the description, (2) add "Michael Jordan" to the Keywords, and (3) add "Michael Jordan" to the Persons Shown field.

Nate wants to enter a code in one field and have the replacements go into not only the field entered, but also one or more other fields automatically.

This is not currently possible.
