Sorry Kirk, another question. Is the search only by IPTC fields or also by file name?

If you don't specify a field then the default fields will be searched.  You can see the list of fields by opening up the "Searchable Fields" window from the Catalog menu.  All of the fields marked with a '•' are searched when no field is specified in your search query.  Filename is one of the default fields.
