set GPS coordinates screen - Sync MAPS and Sync GPS options

Hello all,

I have to use the GPS coordinates a lot for my archiving, a location is important for me to find images later in time.
Therefore, I use the 'set GPS coordinates' option a lot. Can anyone explain the exact function of the two 'Sync' options, Sync Map and Sync GPS? They seem undocumented, I cannot find any info on the exact intended functionality, especially the difference between the two options. I mean, I see something happening when I click them, but what is the added value? I am probably missing something here, but more detailed info would be appreciated.

Mind you, I think I do know the general usage of the 'set GPS coordinates' screen and the difference between options like 'Apply' / 'Apply to all' / 'Apply to remaining' etc. etc.

When you have multiple images selected prior to opening the Set GPS Coordinates dialog, the navigation buttons above the thumbnail become active.  The Sync map checkbox makes the map on the right side of the dialog show the position of each image as you move through them with the navigation buttons.  When unchecked, the map stays at the location it was already showing.  The Sync GPS checkbox does the same thing for the GPS Coordinates fields at the top of the dialog.

These two check boxes give you control over when the two parts of the user interface are updated.

Thanks for the info, it is much more basic then I thought. Never the less, it might be an idea to include this info in the documentation somewhere?
