Remove Metadata template snapshot 'paste' option

Not that easy to describe the subject. In PM, we have the option to 'take' a Metadata (IPTC) snapshot when right-clicking an image. We can then paste that snapshot to other images. Great option. But how do we clear those snapshots? My 'paste' list keeps growing and I lose track of what is what.

There is currently no way to manage that list (it is temporary and will empty on restart of PM).

Please describe your workflow if you don't mind.  There may be a better way to do what you're trying to do with this method.

ok, clear. Working on a Mac, I rarely restart, including PM, it just goes to rest between sessions 

At the moment I am working on archived images, updating metadata and especially locations-where-shot.
These are usually series of images taken at an identical location, sometimes the fastest way is to identify the first image including location, then adding GPS data when possible to all images and then take a metadata snapshot > paste that to the rest of the images. But I also use templates to fill in data for all images where appropriate, it depends really.

By the way, it would be great for me if I could include the GPS coordinates in the Metadata template, makes the pasting easier (more complete) again, now I have to go through the GPS process separately for all the images, once there it is one "add to all" but never the less, it would be great to paste the GPS data with the template.

Just so that you are fully aware, those snapshots completely replace the metadata of the destination images with the snapshot.  If you only want to bulk update specific fields, the Metadata Template is a safer choice.

hm, I used to work as a software tester some time in my life, I could not resist the urge to check what this Take > Paste feature does. As far as I can see it does not paste all data, e.g. Location data seem to remain as-they-where in 'pasted' images, not copied from the 'take' picture. The behaviour seems incomplete to me.

Is the exact behaviour of this Take > Paste function documented somewhere?
I do have to test a little more for myself before I can use it, I would need info on what it is supposed to do or I have to find out myself by testing all possible fields and what it overwrites and what not, not sure I can spend time on that.

For now this function is not usable for serious mass production work if we don't know what is actually copied.
Or maybe my preliminary test is not correct, can not be reproduced and my conclusion is not valid :-)
