I just loaded up a copy of PM 6 plus on a new computer as a result of a computer failure. After restoring the program, the system automatically updated to PM6+, build 7285. I am using the latest release of Windows 11 Pro on the new computer.

I had made some customizations to the color classes (color and description) on my old system that were also on another computer now running All-in-One. I copied the snap file from that computer to the new one and restored it from the Preferences tab. It did restore my customizations to the images in the contact sheets and to Preferences, but the color filters at the top of the contact sheet remained at their default colors. Changing the color selection directly on the Preferences tab also does not affect the filter colors. I checked an old version of PM6 (build 6758) and the filter colors were changed and those changes were propagated when I upgraded to All-in-One on a different machine. I have not tried to use a snap file on the latter machine, so I do not know if the problem still exists in PM 2025.

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Windows Explorer window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

Thanks,

-Kirk

Thanks for the quick response. As it turns out, after a half hour of using PM the colors did change in the filter bar. I can't say for sure what I did to cause this. I may have clicked on the bar to use it or changed contact sheets. I had used the bar several times before without it self-correcting. I'm including the log anyway, but everything is working fine now.
