GPS coordinates are taken over when photos are ingested

I wish the possibility that the GPS coordinates entered in Photo Mechanics can automatically be transferred to the photos when ingested.

Hi Mario,

If GPS coordinates are embedded by the camera, you can use the Reverse Geocoding functionality while applying a Metadata Template to translate the GPS Coordinates to the name of a location, city, and state/province.

You can also use Image>Set GPS Coordinates to manually add coordinates to images selected in a Contact Sheet. You can also enable Reverse Geocoding by selecting the checkbox in the Set GPS Coordinates window. Photo Mechanic will either embed the  metadata into the image file or add the metadata to an XMP sidecar file, depending on the image file type. https://docs.camerabits.com/support/solutions/articles/48001150515-manually-setting-gps-coordinates The new metadata will be copied with the image files during Ingest.
