is Photo Mechanic cloud based?

I use PM on my desktop as well as on my laptop. Is there a way for me to see files on my desktop from my laptop and vice versa? Or do the files have to physically be on each hard drive?

Files need to be locally available on the specific computer in order for Photo Mechanic to open them.

If you store a Documents or Pictures folder in a cloud sync program like iCloud Drive or OneDrive, when you attempt to open those files, Photo Mechanic waits for the operating system to download those files and make them locally available.
