copying Description to Keywords

Can PhotoMechanic copy the words in the Description filed into the Keywords field in the metadata?

Sure, just put the {caption} variable in the Keywords field of the IPTC Stationery Pad, set the checkbox to the left of the Keywords field and apply the IPTC Stationery Pad to your selected photos.
