Error creating preferences file

I don't know if I managed to do something to mess it up or if it's my computer.  Photo Mechanic was running just fine a few weeks ago.  When I try to open it now, however, I get this message:


Error creating preferences file.
(1610)

Any suggestions on how to fix it???  I miss it! :)

What version of Photo Mechanic are you running?
What OS are you running?

I don't have a whole lot of recent experience with 3.x versions as I last worked on those versions a few years ago.  We're up to version 4.5.x now.

Basically my suggestion would be to remove the current preferences file and then try launching version 3.2.5 again.  I'll have to get back to you on the exact filename and location of the file.
