Copy IPTC snapshot into IPTC Stationery Pad
« on: July 08, 2007, 08:24:49 AM »
Is there a way to copy the IPTC info from a file and copy it to the IPTC Stationery Pad using the Windows clipboard?  Note, I realize you can save the jpg IPTC info to a file and then load it in the Stationery Pad, but I am looking for a more direct route  :)

In the Contact Sheet I see you can right click an image and take an IPTC snapshot.  You can then paste this to tother photos, but it doesn't appear that you can paste it into the IPTC Stationery Pad.

Not by using the Windows clipboard, no, but you can do what you want from the IPTC Info dialog.  Hold down the Shift key (Mac users should hold down the Option key instead) and the button labels at the bottom will change.  Notice the one that now says "Copy to Stationery".  Click on it while still holding down the key and you will copy the current IPTC Info to the IPTC Stationery Pad.

I'm going on vacation this week, actually. ;)

I'll still check in with the forums from time to time however.
