Closed: Size of (preview) image in RAW files
« on: July 27, 2007, 12:56:28 AM »
Currently PhotoMechanic (rightly) takes the size of the RAW (sensor) data as the size of the RAW image.
This is not always what I want though.  For instance if I have edited the RAW image with Capture NX and applied a crop, I want to know the resulting size, not the original size.
I therefore have the following request:
Could you add a variable to indicate the size of the JPG preview?

This is something I would like too! Since I mainly use Nikon Capture NX for my editing, the size of the cropped image (which for NX is the same thing as the size of the preview) is more relevant to me than the size of the sensor.

If this is implemented as a new variables, I would like them to work for non-raw images too (displaying the images size), so I can replace the current variables with the new ones!
