create Web pages for viewing grouped by team / match / age
« on: August 02, 2007, 07:24:48 AM »
Hi,
Is it possible to tag a set of sports photos with some IPTC data (using PM of course), and then use that later in the creation of a web page, so that the images are grouped into sections depending on the IPTC data. For example, a seperate page for each player, or team, or age group, depending on what you entered in the IPTC data on each image.

I think it can be done using the EOS templates, but not sure.

Any tips much appreciated!

Merv.

EOS will work fine for that, however it is limited to only one level of categorization.  You can have a gallery for an event, then a sub gallery for each class or competitor, but that is all the further you can break it down.  You can't do EVENT/CLASS/DIVISION/DAY/COMPETITOR type of multi-level hierarchy.

Peter does a great job on support and there are a lot of FAQs on how to set it up.  I still use EOS for my on-site ordering system, but I have migrated my Internet ordering to Photo Cart.
