tab sort order
« on: October 22, 2007, 07:49:56 AM »

Hello again,

So when I drag a series of folders into photo mechanic, it quite conveniently opens them as a series of tabs. I can't for the life of me figure out what logic it uses in the placement of those tabs however. Is it by date modified? It certainly isn't by alphabetical order, which is what I'd expect by default.

Example: I just dragged in the following folders into pm4 all at once:

20071010a
20071012a
20071015a
20071019a
20071020a
20071020b
20071021a

instead of opening up in this order, the tabs opened up in this order, which seems counter-intuitive to me..

20071020a
20071012a
20071020b
20071019a
20071015a
20071010a
20071021a

thoughts? thanks-
-jj

They get opened up in the order that they were passed in from the operating system.  No sorting of any kind is occurring.
