Multiple lines in Thumbnail Title-Contact Sheets?

Is there a way to have "Variables" appear on different lines under thumbnails in Contact Sheets, i.e. filename + iptcdate, etc.

Yes, you can completely customize what appears (up to three lines of additional text) by going into the Contact Sheet tab of the Preferences dialog and setting things the way you like.

I did not state my question clearly. I was referring to printed Contact Sheets. In the Print Setting box, can Variables be added to (3?) multiple lines, by inserting a comma, colon, semi-colon, etc.? If not, is there any chance of adding this to the request list.

And, while I'm at it, have you given any further thought to including the saved name in the title bar of a dialog box like the IPTC Stationary Pad or the Print Settings> Contact Sheet so the user will know which saved setting is currently being used?

Yes, use the {nl} variable whenever you want a New Line.

And, while I'm at it, have you given any further thought to including the saved name in the title bar of a dialog box like the IPTC Stationary Pad or the Print Settings> Contact Sheet so the user will know which saved setting is currently being used?

Yes, but I haven't had time to implement it yet.
