Keyword separators to retain hierarchy?

I want to use PM to ingest, cull, rate and keyword my images.  After these steps I use Lightroom to import the images.  The problem is that when I import into Lightroom the keywords get flattened and I would rather retain the hierarchy.  With the latest versions of Lightroom (and Bridge) there is now support for importing and exporting keyword hierarchies by use of a keyword separator.   In Lightroom and/or Bridge you can use either the '.' ,  '/', '\' or the '|' symbols.  The default for the Adobe apps is the '|'.

Would it be possible to add the ability for PM to write out the keywords with a hierarchical separator?
