Launching PS3 when open image in PM

I have chosen PS3 as the application in my preferences for launching, but when I double click on an RAW image it just goes to the editor in PM.
I am running MAC.
What else do I need to do, to get Photoshop to open?

By default, double-clicking on a thumbnail in the contact sheet opens it up in the Photo Mechanic Preview window.  If you want double-clicks to open the image in your editor of choice, open the Preferences dialog, click on the Preview tab, and change the "Edit/Preview" section to "Double-click edits, Option-double-click previews"
