I think it would be a senseful option, to apply the rotation option already on ingesting the photos. It would be more convenient, to it in one step instead of two, and I think, I should be (a little bit) faster, because PM don't need to read and write the files twice. (Even if I have a fast hard disk in my notebook, but if I ingest 1700 photos with 80 percent in a portrait rotation, it takes a little bit of time.
Btw: Nikon View 6.2.7 (Win) doesn't accept your rotation and shows my photos after applying your rotation in a wrong way. So it seems, that there is still another marker on Nikon-photos you have to change?
