Function to reset Arrangement (remove .pmarrangement.dat)
« on: May 20, 2008, 08:10:49 AM »
If I have set PM to "Only allow arrangements to occur when in Arrangement sort mode"

PM will automatically switch to this arrangement when I set the sort order to Arrangement. This is how it's meant to be.
But the problem is that if there's already a .pmarrangement.dat in the folder, that was unintentionally created (maybe by another user) I cannot easily get rid of that.

Say I have sort order to Capture Time and now want to start rearranging. I need to switch to Arrangement sort mode and - boom - the wrong .pmarrangement.dat kicks in.

Please supply the user with a switch to reset the Arrangement sort order.

Best,
Thomas

You can accomplish this by changing back to Capture Time sort, and then use the "Make Arrangement" command on the "View" menu.  This will overwrite the current Arrangement with your Capture Time arrangement.

HTH,

Ha!

There's sooo much to find (and miss) in PM. Thank you, problem solved!  ;D
