Virtual memory / speed isssues.

I use a Win XP Dual core PC with 3 gb RAM but I have lots of stuff running in the background. Lately PM has been slowing down for me (as well as other programs).

I recently received a low Virtual memory warning - so I change mi Virtual memory settings to more then double the recommended setting.
Recommended is 1.5 times actual RAM -  on my PC that was 4+ I set it at 8.

PM seems to be much more responsive. I wish I had the time to test both. But it was an easy change for better performance
