Return to position in contact sheet
« on: September 05, 2008, 07:03:29 PM »
Hi,

Here's one I just thought of... I have a contact sheet of around 1,000 images, sorted by capture time, which I'm in the middle of captioning and editing. Let's say I select a group of images of one person from the middle of the event, caption them & use color class to make selections. I then option-click on the color so I have just the selects, then open them in Photoshop for correction etc.

The issue is, when I go back to the full contact sheet, instead of it being at the point where I was in the sheet it goes back to the beginning of the sheet and I have to scroll down again to get to the point where I was. It would be much better if, when going back to the contact sheet, it resumed at the point where I left it. (I hope this makes sense.)

Cheers,

Paul

What happens if you press the left arrow followed by the right arrow?  Does it jump you back to where you were?

thank you for the Tip with the arrow-keys, that works :-)    and thats the solution that i searched for

i would find it a little bit better, if the selected thumbnail is focused in the hole contactsheet  ;)
