Is it possible to create a automatic function?
« on: March 09, 2009, 03:09:25 PM »
Hi,

Is it possible to make a "automatic action" on PM. When I choose images to work on I alway create a subfolder (always called 0val). Instead of always makng this folder is it possible to do this automatically from within PM (create a folder and copy images to that folder).?

Using Mac PM 4.6.

Cheers...

Make a folder automatically during what process?  Ingest?  Save As?  Something else?

After ingest and everything. Just when I choose pictures from the contact sheet to put in a seperate folder to work on and keep the originals save. Basically make a subfolder and copy the selction to that folder. That way I can open them in Photoshop, resize them for web or other and save over them.

Cheers...

The new options in the Copy Photos dialog in version 4.6 can create a subfolder automatically, using variables or a set name of your choice.
