on the "Import GPS Coordinates"

on the "Import GPS Coordinates"

3 different issues

1.
If you add some large GPS Logs (meaning hours long every second)

Click on "Plot GPS Logs"  it sometimes can take up to a minute or longer before something happens...which is fine...but no clue what is going on.

change the "Log Status:"

to "Log Status: Working" and put that in red while it is loading the track

then change it back to Log Status: + date range" when it is complete

2.
then the other problem...it will not show the track so internal
to the program, hold all the GPS info in an Array but only send down to the track plot every 1 minute or 5 minutes...what it takes to make a nice plot to show the track

3.
Needs a check box to say "Do not Set GPS values if not not part of the track"
Right now it will go ahead and add a 0,0 as the GPS Position if it is outside the track.
I really don't want that

Would it be possible for you to share with me one of your large GPS Logs that exhibit these issues?

Thanks,

-Kirk

sure...how many do you need?

GPX format or KML (I think KML)

I have a 4 hour one that is every second.

GPX is fine.  Send me the one that helps exhibit as many issues as possible.  Please click on my name to the left of this message, then click on the 'personal message' link.  I will respond with upload instructions.

Thanks,
