I have trouble with navigator in PMechanic

(1/1)

Soizic:
Please, excuse my bad english language because I am french, but there in no french forum about PhotoMechanic.

All is OK for my photos with PM. My problem is  I have many doublons  in the navigator :
 15 « desktop »,  3 « Applications », 3 « home »   etc…
I don't know when they appears, I work rather with the part « favorite ». Really too much !!!!

I am not able to reset this column.
Thanks for help me.
Soizic.

I think I understand what you're describing.  Try right-clicking (or Ctrl-click) on a folder in the Navigator.  Choose 'Preferences...' from the contextual menu.  When the dialog appears, uncheck the option 'Show Finder Sidebar items in Navigator'.  Then click the OK button.  Then quit PM and relaunch it.

The additional items should no longer show up in the Navigator.

Soizic:
Thanks.
I have cleaned with Onyx. After the doublons disappeared.

With ViewNX( of Nikon)  I may edit with CaptureNX by default and with Photoshop with F1.
It seems not possible with PhMechanic. It i a pity !!

Cordialement.

What are 'doublons'?
What does 'F1' do?

You can setup Photo Mechanic to use several different editors and select between them via the contextual menu on the thumbnails and previews.
