We've discussed implementing some sort of PLUS field editing. No time frame however.

It seems a pretty good idea to include PLUS metatada support for PM.

This really needs to be done. I hope Camera Bits isn't going to wait until cataloging work is finished because we probably won't see it for years.... $:-\$
