I noticed several requests in the last six months to add a Zip Archive option to the FTP window.
I'd like to expand on that a little, and request a Zip Archive in the Save As dialog. This feature would do everything specified in the Save As box (resizing, renaming, etc., if applicable), and then create a new Zip Archive in the specified folder location with a specified filename. As I envision it, there would be a checkbox at the bottom for "Save as Zip Archive with filename ______" and I would check the box and fill in the filename for the final archive file.
Rationale: it's a lot easier to email or upload a Zip file in a cross-platform environment. I spend a lot of time creating new folders, putting files in them, then compressing them as Zip files, and emailing or uploading them to drop boxes.
Anyway, if this is something that could work, it would save me a bunch of time. Thanks.
