Reading files from a server

Photomechanic 4.6.3 on Macs

Is it possible to open a contact sheet containing images that are stored on a another server, ie NOT on a local network?

Perhaps this is a future discussions topic but I would like to view live images in real time that appear on a remote server - with the introduction of cameras that can wifi images back to servers, PhotoMechanic would be an ideal tool to edit images sat on a remote server

Unless the remote server is mounted as a file system locally, then the answer is no.  PM does not do 'FTP' browsing.
