EOS Template Galleries dark

My first attempt at generating EOS galleries using PM 4.6.3 after the upgrade from 4.5.4 has resulted in dark galleries. Dark to the point that they are unacceptable.

Have any other users experienced this? And can anyone suggest a fix?

If I can't resolve this quickly I am going to have to find an alternative for my online sales. Can anyone suggest a software-based solution (as opposed to a service) for online sales that you have been happy with?

If you run 4.5.4 does it also have the problem?  You don't have to get rid of an older version when you get a newer version.
