User/Client Variable Usage
« on: June 24, 2010, 05:54:21 AM »
I am mystified by the User/Client Variable dialog.

What is the difference between a User and a Client? When would you put information into User side of the dialog, the Client side, or both?

Thanks.

Mick

You are the user.  The people you're working for are the client.  In the User area, put in information about yourself or your company.  In the Client area put in information about the people you're working for.

Thanks, Kirk. I guess I thought it was more complicated than that! I keep thinking everything photography related is complex. ;)

So my next stupid questions are:

Once I've save a client's data, and have several is the lightening bolt list, how do I delete one that is in the list and no longer needed?

Is there anyway to save a Job with the Client or User data linked to it?

I'm using PM 4.6.4 in Win Vista 64
